This double album is one of the best I've ever purchased. Very few songs that disappoint, and the way the songs are mixed together in the medley are excellent. Now, there are songs that do disappoint, such as 'I Must Tell Jesus,' which kind of bogs down the second CD, and 'We're Back,' which seems a little out of place in my opinion. 'The Lord Is Able' helps out 'We're Back,' though, and many songs are appropriately placed and allow the spirit of holy freedom in Jesus to flow in most any setting despite these hiccups. This CD has a fun quality that liberates listeners, and I find it really enjoyable. 'I'm Covered' is an absolute banger. 'High Praise' kind of leaves you scratching your head at first, but you end up enjoying it anyway. The 'Mother Bernice Jenkins' tracks are entertaining (my six year old loves those parts), and, for the most part, the mix of songs combined with the awesome musicianship (not suprising considering the source) and timeless vocals (it's Kee, so you know he works it) make this album a jewel worth investing in. I really can only think of two tracks that I don't really love, and that's out of twenty-six music tracks. GET THIS CD!!! You'll love it!!

This cd had to grow on me, but once it did, it stayed in the cd player. Listening to some of the great and classic John P. Kee songs, again, along with a few new tunes, was awesome. I know that this was a memorable night live, and I promise you if you are a John P. Kee fan you will not be disappointed. This cd will have you waving your hands in the air, through out the whole concert. Be blessed.

I am definately a life-time John P Key Fan! The Reunion totally ministered to me! I'm enjoying every bit of it.

I PURCHASED THIS CD WHEN ON DEC. 6TH AND IT HAS BEEN A TREAT. I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT. I'LL START WITH DISC ONE. THE NEW SONG "I'M COVERED IS MY JAM. I LOVE IT. "WAIT ON HIM" WITH LIL RUFUS IS GREAT TO. THE TRACKS "WASH ME", THE "WALK BY FAITH/ RAIN ON US/SWEETER/OH HOW WONDROUS" MEDLEY ALONG WITH "I SHALL DO/THE ANOINTING MEDLEY TAME BACK TO THE EARLY DAYS OF NEW LIFE. AND "IT'S POSSIBLE FROM THE NOT GUILTY IS ONE OF MY FAVS.
AND GRATEFUL IS REALLY NICE. I LOVE LEJUENE. SHE'S ALL OVER THIS PROJECT. AND VANESSA TOO. NOW AS FOR DISC TWO. I GUESS JOHN WANTED TO SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST AND WHEN I TELL YOU HE DID. HE DID. JOHN IF YOU READ THIS I LOVE U MAN. HE TOOK US BACK WITH THE "SHOW UP/RIGHT HERE" MEDLEY. AND WE HE TOLD US TO "STAND IN THE NEED OF PRAYER" WHICH BROUGHT OUT "NEW LIFE". THIS IS THE BEST TRACK ON THE CD TO ME. LEJUENE, JOHN ISAAC AND LOWELL DO THEIR THING ON THIS TRACK. LEJUENE LET GOD USE HER IN HER ADLIBS. MR. TYE TRIBBETT TOOK US TO CHURCH ON "HIGH PRAISE". THE TRACK "MORE THAN ANYTHING" IS COLD TO ME. IT MAKES U WANT TO CRY. THE UPDATED "JESUS IS REAL" IS TOO COLD AND THE "HE'LL WELCOME ME/THANK U LORD/IT WILL BE ALRIGHT IS TOO. I LOVE WASH ME/GREATER MEDLEY. AGAIN LEJUENE DOES HER THING WITH VANESSA AND JOHN. "ME OUT" IS GREAT. " LILY IN THE VALLEY/ CLAP YOUR HAND MEDLEY IS THE BOMB BIGGITTY. I LOVE I MUST TELL JESUS.
THE LAST 3 SONGS WERE GREAT ESPECIALLY CHANGED ME AND YOU CAN MAKE IT. THEY REALL WENT BACK ABOUT 15 YEARS ON YOU CAN MAKE IT I LOVE IT. WE NEED A LIVE DVD RECORDING OF THIS. VERITY RECORDS MAKE THAT HAPPEN. THIS WAS TOO GOOD NOT TO BE ON A DVD OR VHS. LUV YA NEW LIFE. STAY STRONG AND ENCOURAGE AND JOHN U TOO. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CAME BACK LEJUENE AND CURTIS GOD BLESS U GOOD SEEING U AND HEARING GOD BLESS UR MINISTRIES. LEJUENE U NEED A CD. BUT I HOPE THIS HAPPENS AGAIN AND I HOPE THE ALBUM WASN'T THE END OF THE REUNION.

The first time I heard this album, It didn't interest me. I thought to myself "I like the original's better", that changed after I listened to it a few more times...Now I love it!!! You can tell that they had alot of fun making this reunion cd. I love Lejuene's voice, and off course Ike and Lowell are on it. If you are a die hard fan you will love this album. If you have never even heard of John P. Kee, by this album, it's an historical brief on kee's vast music career. Oh yeah...my favorite song on this album is on the second Cd the song "Changed Me". Good skate Jam!!!!! (cheese)

This is in response to the person who said that they wish LaDonna Mole was on the Reunion CD - I agree. LaDonna is my 1st cousin and is by far my favorite soloist as well. She and my cousin Tim, who was Pator Kee's music director are absolutely awesome. Maybe you can get a copy of her debut solo project if you don't already have it. I AM TELL YOU THIS THIS CD IS OFF THE CHAIN. JOHN P KEE AND THE NEW LIFE COMMUNITY CHOIR STILL HAVE IT. I AM A JOHN P KEE AND I LOVE THIS ALBUM. THIS CD IS OFF THE CHAIN. I LOVE ALL OF THE SONGS. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH IT. ALL OF THE SONGS ARE AMAZING. THE ONLY THING I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IS I WISH MY FAVORITE SINGER IN THE CHOIR WAS ON THE CD AND THAT IS LADONNA MOLE. I LOVE HER VOICE. SHE IS AMAZING. NOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A REUION. THIS CD IS OFF THE CHAIN. YOU NEED TO GET IT IF YOU LOVE JOHN P KEE AND HIS CHOIR.

I recommend this album with my whole heart. It is such a blessing to hear such great music live, redone in a joyfull way. I just saw this album in the store, not even knowing it was out. As I always do I just pick up anything with John P. Kee on the title. His ministry always brings such a great blessing into my life.
This project is no exception.The 3 skits with sister Bernice really cracked me up.

This album is a must have for all John P.Kee fans. It is also a great album for anyone who just loves good gospel music.
Pick it up and rejoice in the Lord through music.

I payed $15 for this CD. After listening to it when i got home, i felt bad that I ONLY PAID $15 FOR IT. This Cd could have easily been priced at $40 bucks and would have been well worth it.

Not often that a double CD gets 5 stars (Shekina Glory Live excluded) cause it leaves a lot of room for disappointment. But then again we are talking about John P. Kee (G.O.A.T). And the fact that he's doing most of his hits from the years on this cd with the choir that made it hits and with MUSIC DIRECTOR GARLAND WALLER back for this one, it definately doesn't dissapoint. The Only song i skip is we're back. Seemed more like a self promotion and really didn't fit on the cd. One bad track out of what 32. that aint bad.

The new track IM Covered is probably the best song john has done. Ya better than the strengh album, and the show up album. has a nice danceable groove and the vocals are top notch. Can't sit still while listening to the song.

As one person stated the transitions between the songs on the medleys are flawless which has a lot to do with the writing style of Pastor Kee.

You are definately familiar with the songs on this album however they all have a new sound. Vote for most improved song is Wave it Away... the intro is enough to make you say wow by itself.

A must have if you are a John Collector and Love Gospel Music.

could not wait for one to be shipped,so I purchased one at Walmart.
I truly enjoy both cd's. Thanks Pastor Kee and New Life.
