This review is from: John Pizzarelli - Bossa Nova (Paperback)
What a rip-off, even worse than the usual Hal Leonard reruns. I thought that when "Fascinating Rhythm" was listed that there would be a bossa nova version--HAH!! Just the same old dated-chords arrangement you can get in any anthology. Ditto the Jobim songs--available almost anywhere in the identical version. Pizzarelli's own compositions are OK, but hardly worth the price of the book. I may swear off Hal Leonard for a good while.
