Best known for his portrayal of Jack Tripper, the clumsy and loveable clown on the hit tv series, "Three’s Company", John Ritter brings the same recipe of comedic flavor to his own comedy variety show. In "Being Of Sound Mind And Body", Ritter created and starred in this fantastic sketch comedy show televised nationally, May 4th, 1980 on ABC television. Ritter headlines a stellar comedy cast including fellow "Three’s Company" co-stars Joyce Dewitt and Suzanne Somers, legendary horror villain Vincent Price, Howard Hesseman ("WKRP in Cincinnati"), and many more! His untimely death in late 2003 left the entertainment world deeply saddened. Being of Sound Mind & Body captures Ritter at the prime of his career and brings to life a master of comedy at his finest.

Good, but not the best work of John Ritter. Funny parts include John dresses and dances like a Punk Singer, plus he turns into a monkey-look monster at the airport security check.
You can buy and keep this DVD for memorizing John's witty and funny TV performance. But don't expect the DVD to be excellent in terms of video quality since it is duplicated from an old TV Show of the 80s. Besides, the DVD runs less than a hour at the cost of almost 20 dollars. I enjoy and love Three's Company DVDs far more and waiting for the Fourth Season and rest of the season versions to come!

This was a real disappointment from the minute that I put it into the DVD player. It's just not funny. In fact, two of the skits were even pretty serious. This show is a waste of time and money, even though it has a talented cast. I do not know what went wrong, but something surely did.

purchased this DVD for my wife after watching the entire Three's Company series. the DVD was good quality, but neither of us unjoyed the subject matter. I can see why this program did not take off.
