As a mother of 2 active, young boys, I can attest to John Rosemond's theories. I often receive compliments on my sons' behavior -- they are polite and very well behaved (at least outside the house!). not a book
I thought this was a real book too...I should have read about it more carefully. Its a spiral bound desk calendar. Not the format I was looking for.

AS AN EDUCATER FOR 20 + YEARS (PRESCHOOL, ELEMENTARY, SPECIAL ED, & TEENS)
AND AS A PARENT I FIND THIS LITTLE DESK CALENDAR USEFUL. IT KEEPS THE FOCUS ON POSITIVE PARENTING. GENTLE REMINDERS ALL YEAR LONG. I KEPT MINE ON THE KITCHEN WINDOW LEDGE AND FLIPPED THOUGH IT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. I LIKE THAT IT IS SMALL AND DOES NOT TAKE UP A LOT OF ROOM.

Spiral binding misleading,

I like Rosemond's columns, but this "book" is disappointing. It's about the size of a desktop tear-off calendar with the printing horizontal so the spiral binding is on the top. Each page has a sentence or two of "non-contextual" advice tidbits. If they'd left room for appointments & actually made it a calendar it might have been useful for a year. As is, the format is illogical at best and the daily quotes really don't relate to any particular topic.
