Throughout my many years of college up until I graduated with a major in Theater Arts I read dozens upon dozens of books on acting. NOT ONLY on the art of acting but on the pioneers of the craft itself. I got into the rich history dating all the way back to ancient Greece. As my studies led me to the past century they inevitably pointed to one man; Lee Strasberg. Lee Strasberg was credited as the single most important acting teacher who helped shape and make the American theater and movies that we all know and love today. He really is the equivalent of a Emanuel Steward or Cus D'Amato in the boxing world.

After finally following my dreams I decided to move to Hollywood and become a professional working actor. DON DON DON!! Little did I know that finding a good acting teacher was like looking for a book in a library WITHOUT a reference guide! Workshop after workshop, teacher after teacher I felt I wasn't making much progress as an actor. I didn't have a technique or method or any kind of strategy for acting. I was going on auditions and not booking anything! I WAS AWFUL!!

Then, I discovered John Sarno's DVD set and the light bulb just went off in my head. EPIPHANY!! Everything he was saying just made sense... I started getting callbacks from auditions and finally landed 2 commercials spots and 1 role on a feature film movie.

It's a must have if you really want to be competitive in todays market!

John Sarno brings the actors studio into your living room. His amazing ability to teach people to act comes across in this DVD set. It's well organized, so you can work on the exercize process that you want to, i.e. the animal, the slate, sensory exercises. Seasoned actors as well as beginners will enjoy and learn from these lessons. Even if you're just getting ready to give a presentation at the Rotary club or to your work-mates, your delivery will be enhanced after learning from Sarno. My kids watch it before they give class presentations (elementary school) and say that John helps them.

Having witnessed in a class the levels of truth, depth, and colors these techniques bring to an actor's performance and then to actually see actors book work from using this process just blew my mind! The videos are simple to understand yet hold so much information on how to really fuse yourself with the character, had to watch multiple times, and then practice myself of course! Love it!

I've used these DVDs for about a year now and noticed a difference in the way directors talked to me immediately... I got more call backs and more roles after only using them a couple weeks.. I feel so much more confident walking into auditions knowing that I've had personal training from someone as gifted and knowledgeable of the industry as Sarno is. It's a simple instruction that will improve your acting way more than sitting in expensive classes for weeks with little personal training. I love these DVDs!!!

The work that you learn in the DVDs has enabled Maury Morgon to book "Criminal Minds", Winston booked a National Commercial with compac, and Jeremiah Wolfe has booked a National Pokeman Commericial.

Maury was told that the sensory work got her the job!

The information on the dvds contains the best acting lessons in the world!

Acting and speaking takes work to do well. There are lots of options but... There is no other choice. John Sarno is the only acting coach for all levels of actors and as Tracy Britton says "from coast to coast". This course is a fantastic value for every actor and for public speakers an excellent tool! I highly recommend Acting Lessons by John Sarno.

He's great! A true Master-teacher whose influence I utilize to this day. You'll see what I mean after you watch these videos. They have everything any actor needs; from mastering the fundamentals to developing expertise in film acting.

I've been studying acting quite extensively, and I've chosen John's teachings as my primary method of acting. Of all the acting books/Teachers I've encountered--He's the only one that's taught the 3 reference point technique (Very Effective).

I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to be a GOOD film actor.

I just watchd the video and as a producer and director I got some great tips to help actors focus their talents to get the best performance from them. I highly recommend this dvd whether you're a producer like myself or an aspiring actor. Well done John.
