This is one very unique country/blues album with interesting and quirky intervals in between songs that keep you on your toes. These guys are very competent accomplished players who know how to write a good song and still maintain a strong sense of identity,a rare thing nowadays.
I will be the first to admit that I'm a fussy bastard when it comes to music, but when I hear something like this it is like a beacon's light saving me from the jagged rocks of todays stale recycled muzak. Phew! that feels better. Get this album it is a rare bird that will soon be extinct.(given todays standards).

I heard about this album online while reading an article about Norah Jones that mentioned this cd was coming out, since the artists on this album once performed with Norah. It's a great album, full of energy and rhythm. It's hard to pick a favorite song, but right now I'd go with track 2 - "Only One", although they're all great songs. I highly recommend this album to any blues fan, or anyone just looking for great music to listen to.
