This review is from: John Stewart Rock: Teacher, healer, counselor
Today's so called leaders of all races can learn a great deal about speaking "truth to power" from John S. Rock. He dilivered social critisism in the 1840's when such speech could have garnered him an untimely death. This gentleman is a forefather of Black struggle for freedom in America. John S Rock's name should be more recognized in the study of African-American history. It's a shame that he's so overlooked. Buy this book.
