5.0 out of 5 stars As usual with John Surman: "A Must"
Rather tired I sat down tonight, still at the office, to get a short break and listen to this record. And once more I realised what's so easy to forget: this music gives energy, peace of mind, pleasure, .... "Preamble" just took me off garde. And it continued all through the record! This is really great music!

I'm leaving the office now, some hours later, and...

And I mean BAD! This cd ^%$*S! It's no wonder there are so many copies available. 33 currently. Do Not! buy into the other reviewers comments. If you want brass go to the 2 ecm recordings of Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy "Avant-Pop' and 'I Only Have Eyes for You'. Some of the best jazz brass out there. And for De Johnette and Surman, I would recommend 'The Advantures of...

Rather tired I sat down tonight, still at the office, to get a short break and listen to this record.
