This book concentrate only on the last stage of The Hundred Years War , particularly the leading role played
by sir John Talbot in France , which lasted for more than 25 years . The author show us detailed account - year by year - of the heroic lord Talbot's acts in the war , without glorified him ! the author is completely neutral . don't buy the book unless you are interested in the warfare history , and note that this is not a general history of the hundred years war , for that i strongly recommend ( The Hundred Years War ) by seward . |
