Wow! I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I have been playing it in my office all morning. I absolutely love it. The best of John Tesh yet! Way to go, John!

Richard Page is the best,

John Tesch was very wise to invite Richard Page (Mr. Mister) to sing the beautiful "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 on this CD. Richard's distinctive instrument has been absent from the airwaves far too long - why his brilliant solo album, "Shelter Me" (1996) didn't get the airplay it deserved is a mystery. This one song (happily, getting a lot of airplay) makes the cd worthwhile.

This CD contains a nice selection of music suitable for piano and orchestration - a pair from Phill Collins (You'll be in my heart and Against all odds) and Michael Legrand (Summer of 42 and Brian's Song)and a few "standards" - What a Wonderful World, Evergreen and the more recent Take My Breath Away.I would have rated it higher, but for the stilted piano playing and unimaginative orchestration especially on - What A Wonderful World, The Crying Game and She's Like the Wind (not a great tune anyways!) This CD has a real lack of feeling; its almost seems as if all the players are just going through the motions. Come on John - try adding some finesse or a few chords...something!! This was a real disappointment for me - and I do own and enjoy a number of his other collections. I would save your money and try some Richard Clayderman.

As with Pure Movies, John Tesh has put together a terrific CD. I'm not as thrilled with the two vocals, but overall, it is very well done and well worth the purchase.

If you liked the first Pure Movies CD you will LOVE this one. John has captures each song wonderfully. "You'll Be In My Heart" is a masterpiece. A must have for any Tesh fan (and for those who aren't for that matter). It's that good.

I like almost all of the John Tesh orchestrations. His compositions are so delightful to listen to and very easy to enjoy as either background music or thoughtful listening.
