This is an all around great video filmed in Germany of Johnny G doing his stuff for you. The live band sounds great and boy those guys on the keys can play. Video and sound quality on this DVD are top notch so if you're a fan it's worth checking. I would have given this a 5 star rating had the show included a couple more favorite songs but I got the impression that the Ohne Filter show had a specific time interval for him to cram as much as he could into it. Also, there's a bonus extra long version of "Gangster of Love" from another show on the disc.

The late great Johnny Guitar Watson could not have sound better, if you are a fan you will love this DVD, picture quality is excellent along with the sound.

This was okay, I think he missed some songs that would have made the crowd jump..i.e "Love Jones", "I wanna thank you" all on that real mutha for you album...and "Lone Ranger". He sang "real mutha for you twice and I felt he could have filled that time with the other songs mention above. But nonetheless, I really like Johnny G and I'm glad to have the DVD in my concert collection. If I find another one that was performed in the states I would scoop that one up too.

Johnyn Guitar watson was a badd Cat. dude Re-Invented himself from a Blues Based cat into a SuperFly FunkAteer!! this DVD on stage showcases His Chops,but there wasn't enough cuts to Highlight His Later 70's Classic Jams. still it's worth having in your collection. he was truly something else&hasn't gotten his full due to me as a Musician.

Johnny what happen to your guitar skills. Also was he on speed. He was not relaxed or calm in this video. He came across as lame and goofy. His guitar skills has demenished tremendously but his music and songs will always be great. Johnny had a period in history wher his music took second place to no one and I mean no one. Its a shame we don't have any of his live concerts when he was not mentally compromised and old. Buy it for your collection and to show repsect to a legend but be aware that Johnny will not be at his best.

The DVD was great! My dad wanted this, thats why i order it! He loves johnny "Guitar" Watson. That is his favorite artist! I love johnny guitar watson to. So sad that he passed away in 1996 during a comeback tour in Japan. But his music lives on. He ia gone, but never forgoten. RIP Johnny "Guitar" Watson." And thanks to amazon for putting this on DVD!

They are plaing too fast, but Johnny "Guitar" Watson is a fantastic guitarplayer and showman.

Can some one please please help me find this on dvd or CD if possibe. I live in Arkansas, where in 1995 our radio station 99.5 was airing live concerts on the radio. I had to work that evening, so I had my girlfriend record it for me and it was sooooo awesome.
Man I would pay top dollar for this if I can get my hands on it.
She recorded on cassette and I accidently dropped ashe from cigarette on it, I don't know where it is now, it was some time ago. This concert was recorded live @ B.B. King's blues cafe @ universal city studios in California, I am sure in 1995. I hope anyone who is reading this can help me, you will want it too.
