TOO COOL!!!!,

This review is from: Johnny's Jukebox Trivia: 1,001 Fantastic Questions from the Golden Age of Rock and Roll (Paperback)
What a great book! It's not only full of interesting facts about all of my favorite oldies bands, but the author has interjected humor into some of the the multiple choice answers. Unlike other trivia books this book reminds me alot of the game, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." I like the fact that the correct answers to the questions are in the back of the book. This gives you the opportunity to think about which answer is right without having the answer immediately given to me. I hope the author decides to make this into a board game and computer game, also. My friends and I have had great fun with book. Will there be a volume 2?

Not a bad little book! This book actually throws in trivia I never heard before. Most Rock trivia books I come across relay the same old tired facts. This one is refreshing; it has some really rare, obscure and totally interesting facts about rock stars and music from the 50's, 60's and 70's. One of the fun things about it is the format: there are 1,001 questions with multiple choice answers, with the answers in the back. It's especially fun with a group of people! This book brings the fun back to Rock & Roll! Highly recommended.

I am not sure just how many people play trivial pursuit, but this book adds a whole new dimension to pursuit! Some of the things you learn in here are so interesting and totally unexpected! My friends and I have had many fun go arounds playing our own new version of trivial pursuit! thanks for the fun times so far, and thanks in advance for the fun times to come. The only bad thing I have to say about this book is, that it is to d*** short!! More, More!! Thanks so much! A new fan

How could anyone not enjoy this book? The first page had me hooked. As some of the others have already stated, it's fun to use these questions on other people as well as yourself. The cover on my copy is worn out from people borrowing it. Sure, there are some publishing mistakes, but the joy these people had while making this book comes across like gangbusters. If you're looking for in-depth analysis of your favorite oldies, forget it. If you're looking for interesting tidbits, off-the-wall trivia and fun, then you'll enjoy it! The title says it all: jukebox TRIVIA...not jukebox analysis. You got a problem with that? Look up "trivia" in the dictionary.

A fan of Robinson's radio and t.v. efforts for years, I was thrilled to see he's compiled his famous trivia questions into book form. Thanks, John :)

Very fun book to spend an evening with...alone or with friends. Lots of fun testing yourself and others. Much of this stuff is not that well-known, which makes it all the more enjoyable. I wish there was a second volume...maybe someday?

This unprofessionally put together book (just look at the table of contents) is nothing new, and the questions are certainly not "fantastic." The format is the same old same old multiple choice and the supposed trivia is stuff we already know or worse, don't care about. The author's foil answers are supposed to be funny, but they're rather goofy. What a waste of money.
