I bought this book for my parents, at their request. They had an older edition and wanted the latest I could find. They use this book often, and since they're in their late 60s and early 70s, like the strictly allopathic format (I tend to prefer a more natural approach to things, but that's just me.)

If you're looking for a straightforward listing of various ailments and conventional treatments, then don't hesitate to buy this book. For a more holistic approach, check out the "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" available here on Amazon.com as well.
