I got this book for Christmas and have had to keep buying them for all the friends who saw mine! I am a cookbook reader, and this book is FUN--lots of great pics, funny stories, and one great recpie after another. This guy is a no-nonsense cook who sounds like he'd be a riot to sit across the picnic table from--probably more stories where those came from! When my grill thaws out, I'll be working my way through the chapters--but I can already vouch for the lemonade!

Got this book as a stocking stuffer. Even though there's snow on the ground, I find myself thumbing trough the book trying to figure out which recipe will inaugurate my grill come springtime.

Great book for racing fans or grill fans, and if you're both...It's a must have.

Cool stories from the track, better recipies. Having not gone hunting in a few years I feel the need to dust off the 30-06 to get a true representation of the "Bambi Burgers". Lots of great photos, and very humorous inside bits about Kyle. The story about the ice cream had me rolling.. Glad everyone still has all their fingers.
I ordered a couple extra copies as gifts for some of my more redneckish friends, but my attorneys wife picked it up and wanted to try some of the recipies herself .. so I guess there is something for everyone.
Color coded chapters make things easy to find.
Heck of a grill book, should add a bit of spice to my barbecues.

I was given this cookbook as a gift from someone who knows I love to grill. The recipes are great and easy to prepare - perfect for camping or tailgating, especially at the race track. The stories and photos make this much more than a cookbook. In fact, the book became the center of attention at a party I recently hosted. There's something interesting for everybody, whether you're a race fan, outdoors person or just want some great recipes and stories to share with friends and family.

I LOVE this book! I bought it originally to help prepare quick but great fare while on the road in our RV. It worked so well that I now have copy at home and another at my fishing camp. You won't be disappointed!

This cookbook is full of quick and easy recipes. Having to cook for a large number of people in a short time has resulted in many dishes that can be done either on your grill or in your kitchen. The Cold As Snot Chili is an excellent recipe.

All I can say is WOW...I just got back from Phoenix Raceway and had the opportunity to tailgate with Big John and the Ginn Racing Team...Big John is FABULOUS...The food was hearty and healthy too! Can you believe he made me eat all my veggies??? Well that was not hard to do because they were delicious...I am a Soldier in the Army and I have sampled some of the finest chow around the world...And I must say that Big John is the man!!! I am purchasing this book because I am a believer...Absolutley OUTSTANDING chow...A big "HOOAH" to Big John...Army Strong!

If you have NEVER tasted anything this man cooks, on or off the track

GET THIS BOOK!

He's a great friend and a great cook. I've been lucky enough to enjoy his food while on the NASCAR circuit.

Great book for your camping buddies.

The book was so entertaining and have tried a couple of the recipes already and they are great. Haven't seen "Big John" in over 20 years, but thought the book would be a great present for a friend, Bob Stout (not knowing that Mark had sent Bob the website and he'd already ordered his own copy). Just like having John in the room, reading the anecdotes.

Good recipes that are easy to follow, interesting stories, very informative for new tailgaters. You don't have to be a race fan to enjoy this book.
