This 10-inch salad bowl features the Point Marshall Lighthouse in Port Maine, which juts into Penobscot Bay and has a long history as a navigational aide and a haven for artists drawn to its stunning sunsets. Made of high quality earthenware in England, the bowl is durable enough for everyday use and is safe in the microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. Coordinate with other items from the Historic America pattern for a delightful meal and history lesson in one. --Jeff Dalto

This review is from: Johnson Brothers Historic America 10-Inch Salad Bowl (Kitchen)
I bought 3 of these...one for me and each of my sister-in-laws, since our last name is Marshall. I use it for salads, vegetables, you name it. One of my sister-in-laws uses it as a fruit bowl and its always on her counter. Who knows about the other one? Its sturdy, attractive, and my 9 year old son loves it because it has an acorn pattern around the outside and he loves acorns!
Great buy! The matching peices are great, too!
