5.0 out of 5 stars Very good first aid kit
I am using this for my emergency prepardness kit. I researched many kits and found that this one had everything I needed plus a great price. I would recommend this one to anyone who needs a great first aid kit.

Don't waste your money! Ad said it was 170 items but when you get it the case says it has only 140. Individual band-aids count as one and it's mostly band-aids (114). The remaining items are a first aid pamphlet, the case, two latex gloves, a small roll of tape, two small amounts of Neosporin, seven gauze pads, one burn gel pad, one cold pack and three cleansing wipes...

I bought this as the First Aid kit for my car. While it is not sufficient for a major emergency, it more than suffices for everyday common things that might happen like minor cuts, blisters, insect bites and the occasional headache & sour stomach. I've already found myself using the items in this kit on several occasions.

Everyone should have a basic first aid kit in their car. If you need one this makes a great start. I recommend it.

We use this first aid kit for our softball league. Each team gets one. It has all the basics needed for light duty. Since it only runs about $10 it serves its purpose well. It has a good mix of cremes, ointments and bandages for scrapes and bruises. The only complaints I have is the plastic case. It is not very flexible plastic and chunks will crack off the main case easily. But, if you are not planning on having it knocked around then you cannot go wrong.

That's only 132 pieces and if you count the cardboard divider it's 133. A gross misrepresentation and Johnson and Johnson should be ashamed of this product. Not worth the money and would never buy it again.

Lots of stuff in here for those everyday emergencies. I added various pills to complete the package and I leave it in my truck.

This is a good home 1st aid kit for 1-2 adults. This would also be a good 1st aid kit for the car for soccer/hockey moms and for family car trips. Add one or more 50G QuikClot clotting sponges to complete the kit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff. Everyone should have first aid kits ready., June 13, 2010

This is a good kit for basic first aid for minor injuries. I bought this because I wanted a contained kit, but will add more to it such as sharp folding knife (straight edge), small swiss army knife with scizzors, better gauze, a flashlight with a lithium battery (for storage life), better gauze, small towel or something that can be used as a tourniquet, rope, string, medical gloves, and more. I think something like this is good even if it doesn't have everything one might possibly need. A kit that is contained in one place is important because you can be prepared and know where aid is in an emergency.

I found someone unconscious with their heart stopped on a night walk not too long ago and this made me really aware of the importance of being ready and able to help others. I especially advocate having a high quality flashlight on your person at night time (perhaps a Fenix or 4sevens brand for superb quality). The man I found was in an unlit part of a sidewalk and would have died if I did not happen to shine my flashlight where he was by chance. Just a little personal story to show that I really am serious about first aid by and for everyone. Call 911 of course if there really is an emergency, but be ready to do anything you can to help others.

If you do compile a first aid kit go through it thoroughly so you know what's in it and don't have to rummage and fumble if you ever actually need it fast.

I bought this to put in our semi as we are OTR drivers. It is compact and has everything needed in case of an emergency. Only downfall was that I saw it in the store 2 months after purchasing for same price. But it is worth it.
