I've had several mid-priced levels in my time and for the money, this one is hands down the most accurate and well built of the bunch. I would classify this as more of a contractor's grade level versus something the average DIY'er would purchase. The price was so good I couldn't pass it up and after receiving it, I'm not sorry I ordered it. This level will soon become my go to level anytime I need to check my projects for accuracy. If you want a more hi-end product spend the money on a Stabila. If you're like me, and more of a weekend warrior, this level will do anything and everything you will ever need.

This is a tool you should hand on the wall and worship. It is well constructed, lightweight (aluminum), accurate (even in extreme conditions) and easily read, with optimized magnification of the vials AND fluorescent backing for poor lighting. It is designed in Europe by an Austrian company. Considering the quality, price, no tax, no shipping and a free tape measure (similarly well constructed), this is some deal.

You will not find a better level for the price. This thing beats levels that cost twice as much. The construction is very rugged, and very well designed.
The indented shape make it easier to grasp, and aluminum construction makes it light. It has a nice thick coating to protect from scratching. So far it has survived at least 3 drops from over 20' height, and no significant damage besides a few scratches. The liquid bubbles are nicely anchored, and does not wobble around like on the other low price models.

This level is a wonderful tool. I really like the slightly magnified bubble, as well as the fluorescent coloring. Both make reading the level much easier than any I have ever used.

Great level for an outstanding price. Comparable 4 foot levels at Home Depot or Lowes cost more and are of lesser quality. Especially like the powdercoat finish that does not mar painted walls when holding it up. Other 'I' beam levels made of raw aluminum tend to leave marks which is a pain. Level is accurate as far as I can tell and the extra length is very welcome when putting up chair rail, or leveling floors. If you are going to buy a level, might as well make it a good one, and at this price you really should buy the Johnson Level.

This is a great level for the price! Super lightweight, and well made, it can handle a beating and stay true. The only drawback is that it has slightly beveled edges which tend to make it slip around when you are holding it to a vertical surface with one hand.

This is a great level. I really like the fact that it is made of metal and of box section design. This makes it strong and light. Sometimes I have to clamp the level into a position and it's not much good if the clamp actually bends the level. Great product especially considering the price.

This is a very well constructed and designed tool MADE IN AUSTRIA, unlike most of the Chinese junk out there. It also looks very old-fashioned, classy and elegant to hang in the tool room or office. I got this level, plus a tape and a knife all for about $18.. shipped .. no tax.. At that price, this is 3 great gifts for less than twenty bucks..

Order the level in the first week of June. Amazon notify me on July 16 that its been return by "UPS" said they couldn't find my address" after 7 years of UPS delivering Amazons orders to the same address. They can't find my house. Maybe I'll get Michael Moore and Art Rooney on their Backs. Now I know why "UPS" uniforms are brown.

item never arrived and after 3 weeks and a request for a new one to be sent canceled my order! Wouldn't recommend.
