Highly visible -- especially in low lighting. Slip right into the ground. Do rust a little after a week or two but the plastic flag stayed on intact. I pulled them and stored them for use again later.

Easy to see and easy to stick in the ground. Got these for my 'metal detector' to mark locations of 'valuable ancient artifacts' that I discover and let others dig up. LOL I'm considering cleaning and spraying (a few) rods with a reflective paint for easy night location with a flashlight.
I like 'em and put them in my detector bag.

I bought this product to mark areas where I've sprayed beds for herbicides or casoron. I ended up re-using them over and over for other projects, from marking a border, water lines, electrical lines, sprinkler heads, broken sprinklerheads, survey markers, and a whole bunch of other uses, my only complaint is not on the product but the description, after one day outdoors they rust quick, would have been nice to see that they were steel, but I don't imagine they were meant to be reused as much as we have reused them
