Johnny O'Leary ranks with Paddy O'Brien (Tipperary) and Joe Cooley as one of the most inluential exponents of the button accordion in Irish tradional music. Anyone interested in the great, wild musical traditions of the Cork/Kerry borderlands, the "push-pull" style of C#/D box playing, or Irish accordion playing in general should have this book. But don't pay eight hundred plus smackers for a used copy! Search out Lilliput Press and buy it straight from the publisher for EUR50. Shipping to USA about EUR5!
