After breaking any number of egg slicers trying to slice up my strawberries, I finally found THE tool I needed!

Love this slicer! It makes slicing strawberries a snap! A little pricey, but worth the money. Not good for overly ripe strawberries though.

I bought one of these from a different source, not Amazon, and have used it several times. I do like it and it works well. It's easy to clean.

I wouldn't say it fits ANY size of strawberry; I've bought some pretty huge berries. But, I simply cut those berries in half if I need to.

Two or three times, though, this gadget has come apart at the hinge and I've had to carefully get the metal pin back into place. Recently, this fell out of a drawer and came apart, and now the pin is lost somewhere on the floor. I'm looking for it, but, meanwhile, I've decided to try a different type!

This is an excellent slicer. Big enough to fit all sizes of strawberries, small and large. It also has a good thinness.

I gave it three stars because it does work - I used it at a friend's house. But it works just as good as the hard boiled egg slicer I bought at the dollar store. If you have a hard boiled egg slicer, don't waste your money on this little gadget. It will just take up space.

After getting the strawberry stemmer, (see review) I noticed the Joie Simply Slice Strawberry Slicer. I thought, what a good idea, so I ordered several of each and gave them to my daughters. Now I stem, give them to my husband and he uses the Simply Strawberry Slicer. The slices come out the same size and so quickly. You will be surprised how nice and useful this gadget really is. You may be saying, how hard is it to slice a strawberry? The thing is, this is so quick and easy to use and the slices are so uniform, you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner!

this little strawberry can slice up a whole quart of strawberrys in minutes. it made slicing them a joy. a must for any kitchen

Makes it so-o-o easy to slice a bunch of strawberries!!! One of those gadgets you don't NEED, but it certainly makes life easier!!! I really use this slicer!!

I first saw this little beauty of a slicer in a mail order catalog. The price was fairly decent but it was the shipping fees that brought the total to a little under $9.00!!
I came to Amazon Market Place, and found it for less, I have enjoyed this slicer and wil use it dillengently. Can't wait for straberry season to be in full bloom again. As for now I am buying and slicing all the strawberries I can find and freeze them for the winter

Anyone who slices strawberries should own one of these slicers. This is my second one that I have ordered and I would do it again in a heart beat. An egg slicer that I used broke when I had strawberries that were a bit harder and less ripe. It slices very evenly and makes the strawberries look really pretty. Slice it up for your children and you have a very healthy snack for them.
