"The Message," "Planet Rock" and "White Lines" all on the same CD. Are you kidding me? That alone makes this disc one for the time capsule. Throw in less-groundbreaking but catchy as all get-out tunes like "Dream Team is in the House," "Let it Whip," "Jam on It," "Joy and Pain," and the hard-to-find "Hey DJ" and you've got a truly superior collection of what the kids these days are calling 'Old School.' If this gets your blood pumping, check out the four-volume "Electric Funk" collection, also available here at Amazon. It goes even deeper in examining the early sounds of hip-hop. You know, back before it totally sucked.

THIS WHOLE CD IS GREAT I LOVE HEY DJ/BY THE LA DREAM TEAM SUPREME, THE MESSAGE -GRANDMASTER FLASH, I NEED A FREAK-SEXUAL HARASSMENT,JAM ON IT-THE NEUCLEUS. I ENJOY THIS ALBUM IT IS VERY NICELY ARRANGED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ALBUM TO ANYONE WHO LIKES OLD SCHOOL HIP HOPAND R&B!!!!
