pull up bar,

This review is from: Joist Mount Chin Up Bar (Misc.)
Bar is sturdy and the included hardware made for easy installation into a joist beam in my garage. Only minor issue is that the grip surface is a little slick when you begin to sweat, so might need to use resin or wear some gloves for a better grip.

Fast delivery! Needed to purchase lag bolts instead of regular bolts...but easy installation and a very durable product. Whole family is using product every day.

"Heavy Duty" is how I would describe this pull up bar. It mounts to a ceiling beam that is typically found in an unfinished basement/garage with four heavy-duty bolts. It does require a drill and minor skill to be sure that the pull up bar is level. The bar itself and the grips have a pretty wide diameter (not a skinny bar) -- this can give you a considerable forearm workout just from doing pull-ups.the only thing that keeps me from giving this five stars is the fact that there is another model (for $20 more) that has transverse handles which gives you another angle to work out at. Probably worth the extra money.
