5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of storage for the price
Great item for organizing mail and other paperwork. After over a month of heavy use, the product shows no signs of wear. Highly recommend as an organization tool for mail and other messy papers.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK quality, but Pockets are too small
I purchased this to organize my daughter's homework. My mistake for not reading the description better. This has 3 narrow pockets for flat items (like a single piece of 8x10 paper) and 3 wide pockets large items (like books or magazines). The flat pockets are way too small to be of any use. I'be been trying to cram library books in to stretch the fabric but have had...

I'be been trying to cram library books in to stretch the fabric but have had little luck getting them to fit. I felt like I over paid considering I can only use 1/2 of the product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wonderul Product potential defect in hanging loop, July 12, 2010

I loved this item until the fabric loop which holds it up on the door or wall unraveled and the whole rack magazines and all came crashing to the floor. I repaired it myself and now it is working fine and is more stable than before. Just be prepared that if the loop disinigrates you will need to repair it yourself or find someone who can. The company did not reply to my email regarding this issue so buyer beware.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, but you get what you pay for, July 5, 2010

This is not an expensive product, and it doesn't look, feel, or function like one. If you want something you won't be embarrassed for guests to see, move along. If you want something that can hold up to any abuse, keep lookin'.

I use this reading rack to hold my toddler's bedtime and naptime books. These are mostly board books, but they range in size from about 4x6 to about 11x17. The pockets are a terrible size for this. The smaller books slip in entirely, and i have to fish around blindly to pull them out. The big ones (like Goodnight Moon Lap Edition) barely stay in at all.

It would probably work much better if you just kept a few magazines in the top, smaller pockets, and maybe a book or two in the bottom, larger pockets.

My only design complaints are that you can't adjust the height at all and the brackets are too big. The directions make it sound like it's going to be some herculean effort to stretch the straps to get the bottom hook in place, but mine actually has a little bit of slack (our doors are normal door-size). The metal bracket the fits over the door is also wider than our doors by several millimeters, so i had to wedge some pages from old, broken board books in so it would stay flat instead of popping up and keeping the door from shutting.

So, yeah. You get what you pay for. It works, with a little jiggering, and mine hasn't fallen apart yet.

The top loop - the one that's supposed to support the weight of all your magazines, or say your iPad - ripped out on the very first install step (clipping the top hook to the d-ring in the loop).

Jokari=joke? So glad it was crappy enough to immediately identify itself as junk before I wasted any more time on it.

Avoid!

The cheapest magazine holder I could find and it works so much better than the expensive ones. Works perfectly in our bathroom, goes with our theme and is very easy to hang up.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, August 21, 2009

I know $15 is not a tremendous amount to add storage space to a cluttered room, but when I received this item, the fabric is thin and really does not feel very durable. ALso the upper pockets are flat, which they are in the picture as well, but they wouldn't hold much and I don't think they'd hold up. I suppose you could say it is all speculation, since I unrolled and it and immediately rerolled it and returned to amazon! Just not what I had hoped for.

I bought two of these to use side by side. They hold more magazines than I would've guessed. The three bottom pockets can hold at least 7 magazines of a typical thickness, maybe three each of those mini-novel like fashion magazines. Easy to hang and they don't flop around, granted I have them mounted to a wall not a door as is pictured. Good product.
