The jokes in this book are perfect for those times when the fish aren't biting or your friends are watching you cook burgers. With a little discretion the jokes are OK for most anyone. I had the wife in tears more than once. I'm back to buy a copy for my son-in-law.

My father loves jokes, and so when he was recently hospitalized and not in the best of spirits, this book was the perfect pick-me-up. Sure, some of the jokes are not exactly appropriate for a daughter to give a father, but I was naive due to not being able to preview this online first. He still cracked up and had a good time reading through it. The only downside? Some of the jokes are really familiar/common ones, but still funny.

95% of the jokes in this book are classic, very funny and tellable. Easy reading, one joke per page with a history behind some of them. Well worth the investment. A rabbi and a priest...

This book is very funny. It could have more jokes in it, but the ones it does, make you laugh. I especially like the "only good knock-knock joke".

If you have not been on earth but a short time then this joke book may be right for you. I heard most all of these jokes years ago. Therefore, do not buy this book looking for something new.

He always tried to have a good joke to tell the doctor, or golf buddy, or whoever... but they were falling flat lately. Folks don't have time to listen anymore. UNTIL NOW! He has "found old gems" and re-learned them at his leisure. He has discovered new, shorter jokes... he has never liked a book I've given him more. Easy to carry around in one's pocket.

I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my dad. He hasn't received it yet but I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it. I, of course, had to preview the book and enjoyed most the jokes I read. Out of the, let's say ten, jokes I read, most were the longer (but not too long; just a few paragraphs) story-type, all were new to me and all were funny. There will be a few groaners, and the adult-only jokes are conveniently marked with a darkly bordered page. My only complaint is that the book is a little smaller that I realized -- roughly 4"x6" where the text may be a little small for older eyes. All in all, a good buy and a great gift for any joke-ster who may need some friendly tips and a new repertoire.

A friend of mine lent this to me. I liked it well enough to purchase a copy of my own. I then had to order another because I gave my copy to another friend; it's just that good!

We got this for the demotion of our Rotary President who loves jokes but does not always tell them as they are meant to be told. When the book came, I the female, read the jokes and did not laugh too much. My husband, also i the club, picked up the book and started guffawing. So, I gave him the job of picking a joke or two for the demotion and second, it is aptly titled!

Very funny jokes. I got this for my grandpa who never stops telling the same jokes so it's time for a change xD
