About the Author

Roland Topor, who died in 1997, was a well-known French satirist whose cartoon work resembled that of Gerard Scarfe. His simple and direct style conjured up a terrifying and grotesque picture of ultimate enslavement.

5.0 out of 5 stars On My Back Jack, May 16, 2005
This review is from: Joko's Anniversary (Paperback)
This is a great absurdist tale that is short, concise and simple and has much in the way of thought behind it. The story is about workers who carry people on their back, take it as an analogy of existence or just a tale of life, its really worth the read.
