The Neapolitan "Capella de' Turchini" and Antonio Florio have already brought us a wealth of Baroque treasures and this one meets all the expectations I had. The "Veni Creator Spiritus" is a sacred hymn of inexpressible beauty - the conducting is wonderful and Roberta Invernizzi's singing is magnificent. All of the other pieces are definitely also worth hearing - especially the "Vola turtur de nido" for solo soprano and orchestra. I would recommend this CD not only to lovers of baroque music but to everyone!
