I live in Vermont, have two teenage kids, write and reflect a lot on spiritual matters, and work in book publishing. After 20 years as an evangelical, and 22 years as an Episcopalian, in the fall of 2009 I became a Roman Catholic.I love the church and want to see it survive (I love religion; I'm not just spiritual), but I'm not interested in doing things to simply prop up falling institutions. I'm drawn to the ancient and medieval.
