Solid work with a solid performance, November 1, 2007

This work is appealing to those who enjoy 20th century quasi neo-romantic music, somewhat in the mold of Samuel Barber, Ned Rorem and others. It is well-crafted and the perfomance by organizations in the area where Polifrone worked is well suited to the difficulty and demands of this piece. I would reccomend it as a good sampling of Polifrone's style and craftmanship.
