I absolutely love Jon Secada's music. I love his voice because the passion he feels for his music comes across to the listener. I just get caught up in the words and powerful meaning to his songs, especially I'm Free. That song paints a beautiful visual image (if you have an imagination) and empowers you. I have purchased this cd and the Greatest Hits cd and played them both so much they are simply worn, so I've got to buy them again, only this time I am going to save them on my computer before I wear them out. Thank you Jon Secada for sharing your PURE TALENT with us.

Jon Secada knows he has a great voice,and he shows it off on everyone of these 12 cuts .Sometimes its alittle too much.My favorite cut is "Angel." I could listen to this song forever and never get tired of it."Dreams that I carry," the second number,really shows off this great talented singer.You think he's done holding the note,but he goes higher,lower.THIS GUY CAN SING.The other hit singles,"I'm Free,Just Another Day,Do You Believe in us," are all fantastic records."Time Heals," about a loveless relationship,is the only song I don't care for.I've played this CD for a week,and I still enjoy most of the numbers.If you love hearing a great male singer,Jon Secada's debut CD is a must have for your record collection.

I was watching the Grammys in 1992 when Jon Secada was among the nominees for Best New Artist...and there was no doubt in my mind, heart, soul that he was. So, I'm just another one of those gals who don't get it. Because he didn't win, and if my life depended on it - I wouldn't remember who did. No matter. This Audio CD is one of the greatest musical masterpieces. Every once in long while a truly grand voice meshes so exquisitely with the music - that it resounds in your core with inspiration, courage, honor, dignity and profound love. Yes, music - great music - can do this. I am so happy that I never did sell my CD. But then, I believe if anybody wants to know the true value of art like this, you gotta listen to it with everything you have.

Actually, I was looking for the spanish version of this album-Otro Dia mas sin verte-but i never found it. This is an excellent album with very easy to hear songs, and not to mention that contains the greatest Jon Secada hits:Angel,Just Another day without you!!!And you can actually hear Gloria Stefans backing vocals!

Cuban born Jon Secada has stood the test of time. This debut album of his is 13 years old now, and the hits don't stop! If you are looking for that timeless voice of a male pop star, search no more. "Just Another Day" is my friend's favorite song, we play it nearly every night before we go out. The Spanish version is great too, in essence, its nearly the same exact song, but in sung Secada's native tongue, making it that more heartfelt and emotional.
Other standout tracks are "Angel" (also the Spanish version), and "Do You Believe in Us" which my other friend recently just brought to my attention as one of the best pop tracks to hit the charts in the 90's. If anyone doesn't agree with this, they need to sit down and spend an evening with Secada, and the magic he sends through the speakers. Mucho Gusto!

From the first time that I heard 'Just Another Day', I knew I was a very big fan of Jon Secada. He has a great voice, great songwriting ability and produces great music! Every song on this album is excellent. My personal favourite is the romantic ballad 'Angel', because I fell in love with my girlfriend to the sound of that record. I am also a very huge fan of the rythmic 'Do You Believe in Us', the up-lifting 'I'm Free' and the up-tempo dance hit 'Do You Really Want Me'. I would strongly recommend that you buy this album!

Well, no explanation is really needed, with 4 chart toppers on this album, Jon really came through from backing the Miami Sound Machine to leading a very successful solo career.

Jon Secada's voice comes across as strong and beautiful on this compact disc. Each song is unique and displays his voice as an instrument. With Emilio Estefan (Gloria's husband) as the producer and the support of Gloria herself, this debut compact disc was well-received and it has stood the test of time. I love listening to "Just Another Day" in both English and Spanish as well as another, "I'm Free." Despite the music from the early 1990s, this compact disc still holds up to today's standards which makes it a classic as far as I'm concerned!

On our honeymoon, 14 years ago my, wife and I heard this great album in a little, out of the way restaurant. Upon finding out from the waitress who it was we started out to find it on tape so we could listen to it in the car. This is great music from a former Miami Sound Machine backup singer. The song 'Do You Believe In Us' will get your feet tapping and then moving because you can't not dance to it. 'Just Another Day' starts the album off just right and John Secada never lets go until the very end with 'Angel'. 'Time Heals All Wounds' is a great song to Samba to, if you wish. If you like to dance or just groove to a great latin beat and singer, may I suggest getting this CD. Again, if you like to move with your music, you can't go wrong with John Secada.

I got this CD in 1995 at the store and I loved it. Now having it be 15 years later I still listen to it. I love this CD. It's a Jon Secada classic that will forever go down as one of the best CD's of his career. Thank you Jon for delievering a killer smash album. Jon Secada
