If you like the Takk artwork, and would enjoy more visuals in a similar vein, this booklet is an obvious choice. However, the two are so similar, those who own Takk are unlikely to be surprised by any of these pages.

This is an enjoyable though non-essential companion to Sigur Ros' recent music: an opinion more-or-less identical to my reaction toward the book of photographs accompanying the deluxe version of the Heima DVD. The reproductions are of fine quality, in both instances.

Neither come close to being as impressive as the visuals on the DVD. This may however be an unfair, apples-and-oranges comparison. Few would regard cinematography as analogous to painting (excluding rare exceptions such as the films of Tarkovsky); in the case of photography the connection is only slightly less tenuous.

If you're like me--and don't often think to check the dimensions of books you purchase online--take note that Riceboy Sleeps is printed in a tiny format, approximately four by six inches.

This is a great art book. The quality is excellent and the images within the book appear to have come from the world created by the music of Birgisson. A small art book that all Sigur Ros fans should have on their shelves!

I hope to see more projects like this from Birgisson and Somers!

This little notebook of creativity is a great way to get lost in Riceboy Sleeps. Slowly turning page to page as you listen to the ambient atmospheres is a great creative experience.
A must for those who really enjoy jons & alex. Makes for a nice sized gift for someone who enjoys the creativity that flows from jonsi and everything he does.
