From School Library Journal
PreS--These board books show a young child's trips out into the neighborhood. In Doctor, Jonathan's parents take him to the doctor because he has a cold. His grandparents take him to the grocery story and to the library. Smiling, helpful employees greet and interact with the toddler and provide positive experiences. Full-color photographs extend the simple texts. The strength of these titles lies in their unassuming presentation and evocation of community spirit.
