Jonathan's Journey to Mount Miapu initially struck me as a cross between Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I was quickly drawn in to the story of Jonathan who finds himself in a magical and mysterious land. The details of his travels across Mount Miapu were so vivid I could imagine myself there! The story is also one of self-discovery--- which most of us can relate to.
As a pediatrician, I would definitely recommend this book for not only school age kids and young adults but also as a great family read. I can't wait to read more from Ellen Wolfson Valladares!

I recently had the opportunity to read Ellen Wolfson Valladares' book "Jonathan's Journey to Mount Miapu". I have to say that this is one of the best books I've read in a long time. I can't tell you how much I loved it! When I finished the book, I was left feeling so much joy and happiness, as if I'd just had a chance to visit "home". I felt connected to such an amazing energy that was artfully created in the story - an energy that left me feeling elated. It was not only entertaining, but was laced with valuable life lessons woven throughout. I felt on top of the world and so full of joy, and certainly didn't want it to end! The book is a "must read" for people of all ages! Thank you, Ellen! You left me wanting more!

What a great book! Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I need it to know more about the great adventures Jonathan was having and how he would learn to manage the bullies. But I found much more. Jonathan's adventures is a magical and exciting book. I know that it is suppose to be for children and that was my main idea but since my kids are eight I decided to read it to see if it would be age appropriate it. Wao! I am so glad I read it! This book taught me many important lessons, like: breathing techniques, relaxing, how to dominate my fears, and also about Law of Attraction.

This book came to my live at the right moment because it helped me realize that I have being focusing in the things I do not want in my life. Instead I should be focusing in what I want and trusting that when the time comes I will know what to do, and how to do it.

I loved how the young Jonathan was able to conquer his fears and how he decided to help Mount Miapu and their habitants before going back home.
The author described so well and with so many details each scene that it was like I was watching a movie. I remember I had this same impression when I read the Harry Potter's books.This is a beautiful story about friendship, magic, and love.

This is also a great book for all the indigo and crystal children. It helps them understand the things that they are feeling, seeing and hearing. Knowing that they are not alone, and that they are here in this life time with a purpose.

Thank you Ellen Valladares for writing this book and I can't wait to read more from you.
