Jones Act & Maritime Law for Injured WorkersI had high hopes that this book would offer a solid introduction to Jones Act cases. Perhaps my hopes were a little too high. Although the authors do offer an introduction, that's about it. Roughly 400 pages the volume is filled with copies of statutes, including the entire Jones Act, which isn't too hard to find online for free. Other useless filler includes standard damages forms, phone numbers, etc. The scant information about claims and practice pointers is OK, but not enough to justify the price in my view.
The vendor was prompt and efficient. Book was good shape (new) and content is not the province of the vendor but a reasonable refresher of rules and sources for a seasoned lawyer who has not actively worked in the admiralty venue over the past 4 decades.
