I'm so thrilled I took a chance at ordering this coat. It is everything I hoped for, and more. The quality is not to be believed - it is actually quite heavy and will be good for 3 seasons (not hot summer weather). The stitching details are elegant and it has a nice drape to it. A very professional and smart-looking coat. I have other coats that are lighter weight and shorter - this is substantial, and comes right to the top of my knee.

This was an exceptional deal, bought on a Friday sale for 80% off, but the fit was very small, even though I ordered a size bigger than usual. It was of very good quality otherwise, and a great deal. Nice stretch fabric, great Jones New York details.

I have purchased other Jones NY clothing and have always been impressed with the quality and design, and this coat is no exception. It is very rich looking and has very nice details. The only problems is the belt which is way too long with not enough loops. The only other feature that would have been nice is a lining that comes out. It is a rather heavy coat so it is good for the end of winter and cool fall days. Overall, I recommend this coat especially at this discounted price.

I bought this for my daughter and another Jones New York Coat and we couldn't decide which one to keep so we kept both. She loves the comfortable stretch fit. This coat is more for dressy.

The material has a slight sheen and some weight to it, well worth $210. You will be very happy.

I just received this coat, it is more than beautiful!! Is really classy, the quality is exceptonal, the details are so well made and the fabric is really soft and luxury. It fits perfect, is just a little long for me, specially the belt (but I am short and i normally wear petite sizes!). I ordered medium, and I disagree with the reviews that says that the sizes fits small and that it makes you look fat in the hips, as a latin woman I am really wide on this area and I find it so slimming and elegant. The bust was also perfect for me. Strongly recommended!!

I am a huge fan of JNY clothing. Jones usually fits me to a T, and styling typically is updated classic. But not this item. Here are the problems:

* Narrow in shoulders and in bust - runs small on top, even for the small busted.
* High waist does not fit naturally. Could be awesome as a true empire waist, but it is not.
* Belt is too long & is meant to be tied. Last riveted opening is still too large. The only way to fix this is to cut and re-sew the belt a short length.
* Skirt is a full A-line. This brings extra weight & heft below the waist, exactly where most women don't want bulk. It would be much nicer as a straight skirt.

Otherwise the weight, fabric & construction are very nice. It would be a great winter coat in the upper south or a general-purpose coat in the Midwest for all but cold, cold days.

Reluctantly, this coat goes back.
