Highly recommended to all fans of Brazilian music ... or just good music in general. Macahdo is a top-notch musician and songwriter who plays almost all of the instruments heard on this disc (with the exception of the Chinese p'ipa.) Acoustic guitar is combined with other strings and traditional Brazilian percussion for a sound that is sunny, uncluttered and riveting. This is a disc of perfect morning music -- slip it in your player when you roll out of bed, and you're sure to pass the day with a smile on your face. As an added bonus, I should mention that the CD packaging is among the nicest I've seen in a long time.
