If you are interested in photography that celebrates the femaleform, this book is a good start. You won't see anything profound butthere are some worthwhile pics. For the most part I would describe these images as a man's view of the intimate settings he may encounter with his beautiful lover. The models he uses are all borderline supermodels and therefor he may be considered to have sacrificed realism for aesthetics, but so be it. As a whole; there are some images that I found to be cheesy and cliche, but for the most part Jonvelle(s) is a pleasure to experience. In no way is it pornography in my opinion, but if this book is to be left on the coffee table, expect disapproval from any hardcore feminist visitors.

As I'm beginning to expect from Konemann, this book matches the extremely high quality printing and beauty of their books. I bought the book because it is so beautiful, and not so much because of the actual content of the photographs.

It's a photographic work -- apart from some "introductory" text in English and German, the book is filled with large black and white photographs with no captions or text. Most of the photos are full page, with the occasional two-page photo, and a fold-out section in the middle.

All of the photographs are of women -- sensual, mildly erotic. Heterosexual males will probably find the book very attractive.

A large wonderful book, filled with elegant black and white images that celebrate the female form. Full page photos that are a delight to the eye, and pleasing to the mind.

Much softer than Kroll or Stuart; these photos leave something for the imagination to digest.
