This review is from: Joola 1-Star 40mm Training Table Tennis Balls - 12 Pack (Sports)
These balls bounce normally and last as long as good quality 3-star balls. In fact, I got some 3-star balls from Halex and they simply could not compare to these Joola training balls. The 6 Halex balls all broke in about 3 weeks, while I've only lost 6 of these Joola balls in about 6 months! Actually, most of the ones I lost were literally lost, as only 2 actually broke, while the Halex 3-star balls which cost twice as much never lasted long enough for me to lose them.
EDIT: Now it's been many more months that I've been using these balls(I've had at least 2 batches of the white ones and 1 of the orange ones, all ordered at different times). I've been using these balls for training quite often, while using various brands of 3-star balls(DHS, Nittaku, Butterfly, Gambler, etc.) for playing and also sometimes for training. In comparison, the durability of these balls are outstanding, comparable to your average 3-star balls. However, there's one important thing to note: the orange balls are significantly heavier and faster than the white ones. Compared to the 3-star balls, which are pretty similar to each other, the white ones are a bit lighter and slower while the orange ones are a bit heavier and faster, so the differences between the white ones and the orange ones are very noticeable if you've played quite a bit of table tennis. For training purposes, I prefer using the white ones. While the orange ones feel better(probably why they're priced a bit higher), the white ones are more difficult to play with, so if I can hit the white balls well in training, then I can hit 3-star balls in matches even better!

well, I expected these ping pon balls to be better in quality. One was cracked, and a coupe were somewhat misshapen. The others were good.
