This book does exactly what an introductory text on a subject should do. You can start knowing nothing about the topic, and it will teach you the concepts and walk you through the process.I picked up this book having only briefly looked at Joomla and never having learned about SEO; it gave me everything I needed to know to get my site SEO-enabled. It covers general principles, specific tools and larger strategies that you might never think were part of SEO.

I wish there was a review on this book prior to me buying it. So my advice to you is not to buy it. Most of the stuff in this book is for things that are either outdated, don't work, or paid add-ons with no support. I started with the first chapter with the first advice, and the stuff does not work. So if you are new to Joomla and eager to get your SEO working, this is not for you. It has great advice on keywords and titles which are important, but not without the downloads this guy is talking about that you either can't find or have to pay money for them.
