A good review of available extensions ... but not what expected
When I purchased this book, I expected an indepth tutorial on how to take my own flash animations and use them successfully in joomla templates. The book's byline is: Build stunning, content-rich, and interactive websites with Joomla! 1.5 and Flash CS4. What I found was a list of joomla extensions that are flash-based, and how to use them. When I purchased this book, I expected an indepth tutorial on how to take my own flash animations and use them successfully in joomla templates. The book's byline is: Build stunning, content-rich, and interactive websites with Joomla! 1.5 and Flash CS4. What I found was a list of joomla extensions that are flash-based, and how to use them. Not what I was looking for. I found useful information on p. 219, but I was really hoping for more.

He useful chapter is about what problems they can step out and numerous tips, how to advise oneself realizing the definite task. The book counts 260 pages, so you have lots of information to read . This is the first book about how to apply and place any flash objects in great CMS which Joomla! is. The only minus there was too little information about web accessibility. |
