4.0 out of 5 stars Good, solid comfortable pad. BUT mysterious tabs to no where.... problem solved!
I've read all the reviews of this on line prior to buying it. I just received the Joovy Caboose All Season Reversible Pad today. Many of the reviews mentioned these two velcro tabs on top of the product that is supposed to function as a means for anchoring the pad (from the top). Well, like many others in their reviews, I couldn't figure out for the life of me what...

I've read all the reviews of this on line prior to buying it. I just received the Joovy Caboose All Season Reversible Pad today. Many of the reviews mentioned these two velcro tabs on top of the product that is supposed to function as a means for anchoring the pad (from the top). Well, like many others in their reviews, I couldn't figure out for the life of me what these tabs were supposed to attach to. But after many, many, many hours/days/weeks of research, I've figured it out! There is a difference between the Joovy Ultralight Caboose 2010 and all the other models. It's soooo subtle that you really have to read about every single description of each website's or store/retailer's Joovy Caboose Ultralight to really tell. Here's the difference:

2010 model Joovy Caboose Ultralight has these features that are specific to the 2010 model:
-front seat reclines in THREE positions
-back of front seat does NOT have a 'mesh pocket' for the older child to store things on -- where they sit on the bench
-"roller blading - ball bearing" wheels
-bigger basket underneath with 'mesh' pockets on the side (instead of the 'elastic' sides that the 2009 and prior models have)

*the weight is the same 21 lbs., folds the same, mostly the same.. just the above is different...

Well, regarding where to put the tabs on this seat pad, my belief is that the 2009 models, since they have the mesh pocket behind the front seat (see photo in link attached), then at the top of that mesh pocket, there are velcro spots to put anchor the reversible pad. BUT the 2010 models, since they don't have that mesh pocket back there, then there really isn't anywhere to anchor the pad.

[...].

I have not gotten a chance to use the pad with my very, very active 11 month old boy sitting in the front seat yet (as I just got it in the mail today), but tomorrow is errand/shopping day with him and his toddler sister, so we'll see how the pad holds up with his squirming, slouching and napping..

To be fair, the pad seems very comfortable and is very well made. I bought it mainly because my Joovy Caboose Ultralight is orange and I'd like it to stay that way. I love that this pad is machine washable. I'll post back again in a few months to report how it holds up with the squirmy baby.

In regards to the "tabs to no where" on the 2010 model, if the pad shifts under my baby's squirming, I think I will get 2 velcro square adhesives and stick them on the back of the front seat so that the tabs can be anchored. They probably won't be visible too much when my toddler sits or stands on the jump seat and besides, it's the back of the seat. It's okay, I"d rather have that than a moving/shifting seat pad.

Maybe Joovy should have updated their pads when they updated the 2010 Caboose Ultralights.... but overall, a good product.

It's been over a year now that I've been using this pad and it is FABULOUS. Worth every penny. super dirty, but washes out well. I love it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Does not Fit All Strollers, November 14, 2008

The description says it fits most strollers. It does not fit the Mia Moda Facile stroller. There is no way to attach it. It is designed to velcro to the stroller seat. Great concept. Not Universal.
