I am very pleased with this stroller and happy with my purchase! The quality is excellent and is exactly what I was looking for in a jogging stroller. After my daughter was born, my friend asked me to join her in a half marathon in November 2011. Being someone who exercised, but was more of a gym rat that despised running (especially outdoors), I agreed because I wanted a fitness goal. I did a decent amount research and many recommended getting the Bob Revolution, but I didn't really want to spend $400+ on a jogging stroller. Then I came across the Joovy and decided on the fixed wheel option because we have a City Mini we use for everyday stuff.
My daughter is petite (around 16 lbs), and at 8 months she fits awesome in the stroller. It rolls very smoothly, has a great basket underneath and folds up pretty decently (but we luckily have enough room that I don't have to utilize this too much). The parent tray is sturdy, the canopy is great and it's relatively easy to recline the seat when she falls asleep (honestly, the City Mini is much better, but this works well also).
Assembly wasn't hard, except it did require a LOT of elbow grease to screw in the leg rest. The pre-drilled holes didn't seem to really fit the screws, but we were will able to get the leg rest on just fine and feel that it is secure. When putting the front wheel on, I would suggest pushing it outside for a little because I initially had it off centered and with a minor adjustment of moving the wheel more center it has been perfect.
The only thing I would suggest to Joovy is a small improvement on the rain cover. It has excellent coverage, but on the very front, there is no velcro to keep it closed. I got caught in a rain storm and as I was running, the front would fold in slightly and got my child a little wet on her legs. I think I am going to put a small piece of velcro myself to prevent this from occuring in the future.
Overall, for the price and quality, I HIGHLY recommend this stroller!!!
