This travel guide includes a great map and a lot of terrific info on Jordan. I used it on a week-long trip to the country and found it very worthwhile. Jordan has a fascinating history and maybe truly historic and religious sites. This book is a must.

I waited until my return from Jordan to rate this travel guide. My evaluation: this is an excellent travel set (book and map) to take on your trip to Jordan, especially if you are going on an accompanied tour as many Americans do. This compact book covers everything needed in the main areas of interest. Having an excellent fold-up map that fits in the book cover as well is very handy. The book will fit in a purse or camera bag, not weigh you down, and provide all the detail you need on the main sights of Jordan. I thoroughly enjoyed my recent trip there -- the people, the food, and incredible sights to see: Jerash, the Dead Sea, Petra, the Jordan Valley.

My wife and I went to Jordan in 2010 and I bought this book to read about Jordan. Book was enjoyable to read and the descriptions of the sights were very good especially of Petra. This sight was awesome and also the country side. The book also included a map to follow. Liked the book.

Has a lot of good information and some vocabulary. Should be a great help on our trip trip to Jordan.
