Edited March 2009 for a few changes:

Jordin was my favorite singer from season 6 of American Idol.

When I first heard her album, I was a bit disappointed. However, after hearing several of her singles on radio, I decided to give her album a second chance.

It's a pretty good R&B-oriented pop album. It's youthful yet at the same time has a maturity about it, kind of like Mariah Carey's debut in the 90s. The lyrics are family-friendly with themes about falling in love and coming-of-age. Family-friendly lyrics very rare these days and I appreciate that.

My favorite songs from the album are: Tattoo, No Air, One Step At A Time, Freeze, Now You Tell Me, Next To You, Just For The Record, Permanent Monday, See My Side, and This Is My Now.
