beware that this is extremely lightweight
part of the challenge of buying things on line is that it is sometimes difficult to tell exactly what you are getting. That was the case with this. It looks identical to the Jorgy clamps that I have purchaed from the woodworking store locally, but these are much lighter weight. yes, i know it SAYS lightweight, but I consider their beefier ones to be lightweight,...

part of the challenge of buying things on line is that it is sometimes difficult to tell exactly what you are getting. That was the case with this. It looks identical to the Jorgy clamps that I have purchaed from the woodworking store locally, but these are much lighter weight. yes, i know it SAYS lightweight, but I consider their beefier ones to be lightweight, because they are much lighter than a pipe clamp or beam clamp. It works fine, however, and Jorgensen quality is pretty decent (except the lightweight bench vise which was a bad purchase). Anyway, just be aware of what you are getting, and if lightweight is what you are really after, then this will be fine.
