This book contains so much valuable information on Marti and his relationship with the Cuban Emigre Community of Key West in the 1890s. I highly recommend this book for any casual or serious student of Marti, his life and his leadership role in uniting the different Cuban exile factions in Key West and Tampa at that critical time in Cuba's history. The book is so well researched and provides a window into the exiled Key West Cuban community and its efforts to liberate Cuba from Spanish domination. A superb read.
