You really can develop ESP and this book proves how to do and it use it! I took the Silva course maybe 15 years ago and initially had some incredible results. Like any muscle, though, you have to exercise it and I got out of shape. I got Ed's book and have been motivated to use it for success. It works! I have received specific guidance in my dreams and an unexpected monetary windfall that I really needed.

The success stories in the book are inspirational and the instructions are clear and descriptive. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to increase their brainpower, connect with higher wisdom and solve problems. As a businessperson, I loved the part on intution and executive success. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that I think it could have been a little longer (maybe I just wish it were!) and there were a couple of techniques like the Alpha Unimold that were touched upon but not really described. Overall, though, it is a wonderful service and gift to those of us who are fortunate enough to have it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I should have written this review 2 years ago, but due to the many changes that have occurred, I have neglected it until now. ESP is possible, something that I would have never believed several years ago.
Some background, I was run over 2 and 1/2 years ago, complete with being in a coma. I was in intense pain(with headaches that I was told that I would have the rest of my life as well as back and leg pain) and the brain was pretty well shot. My Neurologist and Neuro-Psychologist both recommended that I start meditating. I had done this years ago, but had fell out of practice and could not get the hang of it again. I stumbled on this book "by accident". Suddenly, things started to click. It is not an overnight thing, one has to follow the simple instructions which include an easy 40 day program. I was soon able to walk again, and withing 6 months,was able to return to practicing medicine. I have advanced even further and made a move and am happier than I have been in years. Also, no headaches or any other pain. My medical knowledge returned totally intact.
Now back to the ESP thing. I have found that most of the time that I am able to figure out my patients' diagnosis when I first walk into the room and look at them. Of course, I still get x-rays and lab work to comfirm the diagnosis, but I would say that I have a correct diagnosis in about 95% of the cases.
How this happens, I cannot tell for sure, but it has made me get some extra tests that confirmed a diagnosis that I got a feeling for when the patient did not even complain of symptoms. I am not confident enough to base my practice on it yet, but it has been a great advantage. I highly recommend this book and the Silva Ultramind ESP system CD program.
I could keep going with praise for this book and System, but Amazon.com limits one to 1000 words.

I cherish this book. I read the book 1.5 years ago and it motivated me to get back into Silva again. it also inspired me to take the UltraMind Seminar which lead to unbeleivably powerful psychic experiences for me. It also helped me with my career - getting a raise and doubline my sales quota in 1 month.
Loved it. A must read - although if you've never studied Silva before you might get a bit lost.

This book is a good introduction for anyone new to the idea of mind control(controlling your own mind/thoughts/emotions...), and using the mind for self-healing and success. This book is a great introduction to the work of Jose Silva, and is a must-read for anyone considering taking a class in mind-control, such as, Silva Life Accelerator, Silva Ultramind, or the Mind-Scape system from the International BodyTalk Association.

My wife read this book and found many answers she did not find in other classes or books -- answers she still had after taking Mindscape, as a matter of fact. After reading this book, what she learned in Mindscape "clicked," and she immediately took the Silva Ultramind System. Soon after, she became a Silva Ultramind Instructor and was not only able to access and utilize the gifts discussed in Jose Silva's Ultramind ESP System, but she was able to teach others to do the same thing with astonishing success!

This book is a great book that does what it was designed to do; and the Ultramind program definitely works. By the way, Silva's ESP stands for, "Effective Sensory Projection." This is not about controlling other people, reading minds, or anything other than effectively accessing your own mental abilities, skills, and natural gifts and talents.

Read the book. Definitely more focused on Burt Goldman but the long relax meditation by silva is like the best for complete relaxation and peace. The book is good. I think if I read it more times which I will certainly do I will come away with more from it in understanding and using the Silva techniques. Dont really agree with some of what Silva teaches but would definitely be cool to communicate with your higher self and the universe. There are some key things in here but just havent got to practicing them yet!

This book was very well written and easy to understand. The exercises as well as the information given has helped me tremendously.

This book has taught me how to truly relax. Meditation is such a great form of therapy. I have learned how to relax and concentrate in just the first few chapters. I teaches you how to focus on every part of your body.

This book was well worth the wait and the cost. Very good book. The service from the book vendor was the best I have seen.

I found this book somewhat badly written and also quite repetitive. Particularly repetitive was the constant referral back to the Silva courses. It was made perfectly clear, often, that the courses were far better than the information received in the book. It reminded me of the way Joseph Murphy (author of, among others, Telepsychics) constantly footnotes, with all said footnotes referring to other books only MURPHY has written. It can be annoying, and the same can be said when reading this book.

While there's good information here, I should have just ordered something Silva himself had written.

This is Cal Worthington (the used car guy) and Tammy Faye Baker (the evangelist wife, with meaningful tearful pauses, small gasps and all) teaching ESP for the Lord.

The majority of these CDs consist of people mentally masturbating themselves over whatever they have managed to figure out and why they sell this overrated product instead of getting a useful job.There is no instruction here on ESP and if you're looking for a hypnotism CD or positive thinking product you can get a better one on ebay for $10-$12. Seriously, don't waste your money. It is 5 1/2 CD's of personal boring testimony and 1/2 CD total on putting yourself in alpha with their personal instruction on what you can and can't do when you get there.
