About the Author

The writing of this book was pure interest as the motivator. To seek answers to many questions that arise from biblical stories, taught by the Christian teachers. Many of those stories begged for further explainations, which always seemed to avoid a logical answer. So it has been left to others to assume answers to those questions. Religion touches the lives of almost everyone on the planet. It is as passionate as life itself. Believers defend it to the death, while others scoff at it and others muder because of it. It is big business: many became wealthy through both honest labor and scams, each selling the stuff with promises of grandeur, riches and happy joyous lives, which is not always the case. For people to become rich from spreading of 'God's words' others became poorer and I do not believe that this is what Jesus was all about. Raised in an Anglican environment I attended Sunday services, was baptised, confirmed and sang in the choir. I had joined other youth groups in other faiths all of which just raised more questions about this thing called religion and what was taught. I became a Tool and Machine Designer moving on to Manager of Manufacturing and then to Teaching High School. I am married with four children, three grand children and one great granddaughter. I have always been involved with sports and community activities, Minor hockey, Disabled Athletes Ass. Junior Squash lessons, Fundraising activities and serving on various Boards promoting Health and Fitness. Now I live in a small community surrounded by farms. At an early age I took a dislike for big cities. This is a community where air is clean, whose people are devoted to its wellbeing in the quality of services they provide. Activities in the arts, entertainment, kids programs as well as senior programs such as health and fitness clubs. This communty has always punched above itself in this regard. It is a place where community churches go ab --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Intrigued by the book's description and subject matter, not mention length, I was expecting a more scholarly work. Instead, I found a totally fictionalized story, written in the first-person, that read more like a dry conspiracy theory novel a la "The Divinci Code" albeit without Dan Brown's penchant for crafting an entertaining story. This author took about a dozen different ideas out of their original context and mixed them together to create this fictionalized account. And he wasn't kidding when he mentions in the Forward about altering scriptures, facts, and places to suit the story line. But the alterations are more like blatant distortions, and the shear number of alterations/distortions make it impossible to see how the author could achieve his purpose to "answer many common questions" left unanswered" or "provide possible explanations as to what happened" in the Bible. After a couple of chapters, I felt like I was reading about events in an alternative universe. The author might have been more successful altering his theories to suit the facts instead, or else sell this work as a piece of a science fiction where the reader presupposes a suspension of belief. I'm glad I only wasted $4 on the Kindle version of this book; halfway through I gave it up as a lost cause. As Alexander Pope once said, "Knowledge is a dangerous thing; drink deeply or not at all". This author obviously drank not deeply enough - and probably from a tainted cup.

The fiction used was so extreme it was unbelievable and contrary to what Christian's believe.
Many of the bible quotes are inaccurate, and try to make you feel Jesus was a confused person.

This is interesting and good reading, but differs from the biblical descriptions of several characters such as Mary being chosen and reared and Jesus being married and having children. I am no biblical scholar and do enjoy fiction but doubt that this book would be enjoyed by our church book group.

A very good read, although you must remember that it is fiction. No nail holes in Jesus's hands should prove something
