Bought this double bowl for my dad for Christmas. He's a big pistachio nut eater. He had a great AHA moment when he realized that I hadn't just bought him some random plastic bowl, but rather a bowl that skillfully presents his favorite nut, but then hides the shells he frequently discards.
The bowls do separate, so it's a cinch to clean.
I highly recommend getting the "white" version that is white on the outside and green on the inside. This two-tone color combination draws attention to the hidden bowl, making it more intuitive.
Looking forward to trying the bowl with olives- hiding the nasty pits that people have sucked on will be so much better than a separate, and exposed, pit bowl.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys shelled nuts, olives, cherries, etc.

I've slowly started getting rid of all plastic items from my kitchen but I really wanted this bowl so I bought it anyways. I'll likely hand wash it in the future to avoid any possible plastic related issues. That said its really attractive! It stands out in a sea of other serving dishes and I know I'll get lots of comments on it. For the price ($18) I really think its worth it. It would be a nice gift for people who like nuts with shells or olives but its so pretty I've found myself using it for other things as well- even raspberries.

This dish is just perfect for pistachios. Left out on the counter, the bowl is large enough to hold enough nuts for a snack, and the empty shells are easily disposed of & hidden in the lower bowl. Excellent quality, nice thick material withstands rough treatment. And it's Pstachio Green inside!

Exactly as pictured.
I like the design. The bowl works perfect for edames. It's dishwasher safe and works perfectly. The white and green color combination looks nice.

Very cute and functional
