This review is from: The Economics and Sociology of Capitalism (Paperback)
After finishing this book, I have a renewed respect for Joseph Schumpeter and desire to read more of his works. The editor did a wonderful job describing JAS's life in the beginning of the book and it simply was a clean and insightful biography. The editor picked some great lectures, excerpts and reviews from JAS that rounded off this nice biography. This shouldn't be your first choice to learn about JAS because it's simply not an easy read. I think the editor probably assumes you've read Schumpeter before. In summary, this book and JAS will stretch your mind but that's why we read these types of books right? Enjoy!!!
