Just as only music can elevate words to their true emotional potential, Josh Groban's voice is able to bring ears of all kinds the ultimate enjoyment of music. I'm a lover of classical and operatic music, among other styles, but I've passed my Josh Groban CD all around my office (when I can bear to part with it!) - to metal heads, country bumpkins, jazz nuts, and hip hoppers - and it has been met every time with awe and the speedy purchase of another copy. I believe Josh's voice has the power to make the parameters of popular music stretch wide to encompass a unique style that transcends genre. It should be required listening for all living humans. And their pets.

Being a huge fan of the singer, Josh Groban -- aka a Grobanite -- I bought this CD for the one song not available on the U.S. release of Josh's debut CD. I was concerned about paying such an exhorbitant amount of money for one song, but I was not disappointed!!!

"Mia Per Sempre" is so heartbreakingly beautiful I was almost brought to tears on first hearing it. Josh sings this song with a pathos not heard in any other of his Italian love songs. The only song I prefer over "Mia Per Sempre" is the gorgeous "Gira Con Me," which also appears on this CD.

If you are a fan of Josh's buy this CD -- you'll be glad you did!!!

Need more Josh? this import version of Josh CD with an additional song "Mia Per Sempre" as a bonus track is even better. If you're one of those who loves Josh music who also want some more from him, this CD is just the answer. Just like his other italian songs, "Mia Per Sempre" is one of my favorites too. The music is captivating and transcends your imagination to greater astral proportions. But don't take my word for it, go get it and you'll know what I mean. The voice of Josh is just amazing, smooth and one of a kind. You're going to love this CD. Delay no further.....go get it...now.

Josh Groban's powerful, moving voice makes his debut CD a goldmine of supreme music. His voice is a refreshing oasis in a parched music scene. He comes up with a potential classic in 'You're Still You' which he renders in a smooth and dramatic fashion. He is deeply touching in 'To Where You Are' -- a song he made famous via Ally McBeal. He proves he can match Andrea Bocelli's range in 'The Prayer', dueting with Charlotte Church. He gives a refreshing twist to 'Vincent' and masterfully gives justice to 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring'. His magic is that his voice appeals to the young and old, from whatever part of the world, and his music is unique in that he is neither purely pop nor purely classical. His music is it's own genre and his voice one truly made in heaven.

With his deep and sultry baritone voice, Josh Groban brings power and emotion to every track on the album. There is a wonderful variety of pieces, from the warm and touching "Your Still You", to the power of "Vincent", to upbeat feel of "Canto Alla Vita". The CD crosses music genres, but results in a unique, sensual blend that anyone can appreciate, despite his or her musical leanings. Though half the album is in italian, one does not need to know the language to feel the splendor or enchantment of the songs. Every piece is well done, with beautiful instrumental accompaniments that bring out the melody of the tunes and enhance the richness and beauty of Josh's voice. His voice is one you can not easily forget. This CD is a gem, and is one of those rare albums that can be listened to countless times because every song is truly magical.

The Cd with the bonus track "mia per siempre" is beyond words to describe. Josh has reached to the very depths of his soul to deliver with such powerful passion and emotion. You will
be moved to tears as you listen to Josh's magnificent voice, tears not of sadness, rather tears of joy at the beauty of Josh's amazing voice. Every song in this CD is performed to perfection and you know he has given his heart to each and every song. Josh is absolutely amazing, be prepared, he will capture your heart.

how wonderful josh groban's voice is to the ears.

he's young and has a lot to learn. considering the natural talent he has and the already astounding control and skill he posesses what will he be like when he is no longer rough around the edges and has honed his skills? the mind boggles! there's something about the tone or the quality of his voice that is the most beautiful, pleasant, soul stirring sound i have ever heard.

i purchased the american version of this album first before i knew about this one. hearing how amazing josh groban was i HAD to have that additional track. i'm not sure it was worth paying twice the amount for that one track, but what is a person going to do? i'll overlook this borderline extortion because mr. groban is SO talented even at his tender age and his voice is SO much TLC for the ears. maybe there is some kind of marketing laws in japan that a cd must contain at least 14 tracks?

either this CD or the other version (minus one track) that is being distributed in the rest of the world is a MUST HAVE. you are missing out on a very beautiful thing otherwise.

Of all the Albums I've ever owned, Josh Groban's self-titled debut album is my all-time favorite. I love almost of all of Josh's music, but this album is totally unique. I find the wide variety of music encompassed in this album totally awe-inspiring. It is the most played album I've ever owned. My recent purchase of this album with the bonus track, "Mia Per Sempre," was like adding the perfect desert to a delicious meal.
I would highly recommend it!

This CD is a treasure trove of tracks, from the opening, "Alla Luce del Sole" to the end duet with the incredible Charlotte Church. Josh's rendering of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" is the best I've ever heard in or out of a cathedral. This is a delight to the ear and would make a wonderful gift to any classical fan, as well as an excellent intro to people who want to learn to appreciate it. My newest favorite CD! Highly recommend!

Since I already own Josh's debut CD, his DVD and VHS, I bought the Japanese export just for the bonus trak, Mia Per Sempre. Josh's voice mesmorizes, and Mia per Sempre is another proof of this phenomena. I'm only a student of the Italian language, but one needs not speak Italian to apprecite, and fall in love with the rich baritone voice of this incredibly talented, gorgeous man.
